Welcome to affordable care

This initiative is part of our broader work providing neurodiversity-affirming counselling for autistic adults and adults with ADHD across BC and Ontario. Click on these links to learn more about our approach to neurodiversity-aware therapy, or explore our counselling services in more detail.

This initiative is designed to support neurodivergent adults who may face barriers accessing private counselling, including financial constraints, long waitlists in publicly funded systems, or difficulty finding clinicians who take an affirming approach to neurodivergence.

The intention of this initiative is to respond to three common access challenges: the high cost of private therapy, long waitlists in publicly funded systems, and limited availability of clinicians trained in affirming approaches to neurodivergence.

We aim to provide support to low-income neurodivergent adults - particularly those navigating burnout, masking fatigue, identity exploration, or late diagnosis - who encounter difficulty finding therapy that is both accessible and aligned with their lived experience.

Our goal is to lower financial barriers while maintaining a high standard of care by providing Neurodiversity Aware Therapy (NAT) at an affordable cost through a structured model.

Please check out our eligibility criteria and program details, which are outlined below.
Accessibility Criteria
Criteria for accessing this program include self-identification as neurodivergent and low-income status.
  • Neurodivergent individuals
Clients self-identify as neurodivergent. This may include Autistic individuals, people with ADHD, and others who experience neurodivergence, whether formally diagnosed or self-identified.
  • Age and service jurisdictions
Services are currently offered to people residing in BC and Ontario.
  • Clinical Fit
This service is appropriate for individuals seeking support with concerns such as burnout, masking fatigue, identity exploration, relational stress, executive functioning challenges, and general mental health wellbeing. Because services are provided by supervised counselling interns, the program may not be appropriate for individuals requiring intensive, specialized, or crisis-level intervention.
  • Low-income status without insurance
This program is designed for individuals without insurance who are experiencing low income, financial hardship, disability income reliance, student status, underemployment, or other economic barriers to accessing private therapy.
